Dr. Anna Perreira is the Head of the Department of Architecture at the University of Guyana and serves as Vice President of the Caribbean Academy of Sciences (Guyana Chapter). A Guyanese-Canadian academic with more than two decades of professional experience across the Caribbean, North America, and South America, Dr. Perreira specializes in sustainable built environments, affordable housing, and the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in underserved communities.
She is also a certified LEED Green Associate. Throughout her career, Dr. Perreira has chaired National Technical Committees and contributed her expertise to projects for UNICEF and the Government of Guyana.
